How Long Does Installation Take?
Most of the time, LUX Landscape Lighting can complete installation in one day. If a system is particularly large, with many fixtures, it could take longer.

Will Installation Disrupt My Landscaping?
No! We respect your landscaping. To install wiring underground, we use a flat wire spade and slice an eight-inch-deep channel into the ground along the foundation of your home or walkways. We place the wire in the channel, then neatly bury it. If there’s mulch, we place it back on top.
We avoid running wire through landscape beds, or it would later be broken when digging and planting.

Is Landscape Lighting Safe?
Yes! LUX uses low-voltage wire. If the wire is cut or damaged, it won’t harm people or pets. The power console is plugged into a 120V outlet. It converts the 120-volt supply down to 12 volts.
Landscape Lighting FAQ 4:
Will My Lights Turn On Automatically?
Yes! Whether you have a traditional power console or smart lighting, you lights turn on and off by themselves. Traditional lighting uses an astronomical timer that controls all the lights, and they will come on at dusk. Common programming options are dusk to dawn or dusk to midnight. Smart landscape lighting allows you to program different zones for different times and intensities.
